Style Ideas for the Photographer

We’re constantly helping our clients figure out what to wear to the session, but what about us? Have you ever gone to your closet and felt clueless as to what you should put on for work that day? The key to a photog’s style is to look professional and approachable, all at the same time! I thought it would be fun to share some style ideas that would look great on any photographer. When you’re running to your closet next time, I would suggest these 3 tips. 1. NOTHING LOW & NOTHING SHORT! We are up down and all around, never, never wear clothing that will make your clients (especially a wife) feel uncomfortable!   2. LAYERS. The layers are because I’m often outside and it might be a little chilly but as I get running around with the kids, I get hot and I want to be able to stay comfortable by ditching the cardigan. 3. Comfy Shoes! I almost always wear flats, although when I do wear heals I love the height it offers me! If the weather is at all nice, you’ll usually end up finding me barefoot, which is another reason I love the ballet flats! I can just ditch the shoes and have fun with my family!

And now some fashion savvy ideas to help you feel confident and look professional for your next session.
