Our children’s session was designed around the gorgeous clothing by JOYFOLIE. If you haven’t explored their site and seen the delightfully whimsical designs they create… You are in for a treat! Oh my goodness… Wait till you see the shoes!
And if you recognize our beautiful little models, we’re not surprised. These girls have graced the cover of magazines, Carters and several other clothing websites. They were such little sweethearts and absolute dolls to photograph!

MODEL CALL | Seattle, WA. | June 8th & 9th..
We have another MODEL CASTING CALL, this time in Seattle, WA.
I am looking for several sets of models for different stylized shoots that I’m creating for my Thrive Retreat workshop I’m teaching June 6th through the 9th.
We have openings for:
- 3 to 4 delightful teen girls (ages 17 to 21)
- 1 blissful couple for a love session – FILLED
- 2 enchanting little girls (must wear clothing sizes kids 6 and/or 8)
If you’re interested or you know someone who might be, we will need you to send us your picture and a little info about you by MONDAY, MAY 20th.
There will be pretty specific wardrobe requirements for the styling and concept of each session. You must have a great attitude and be happy to be in front of the camera. 
What you will receive: Women will be fully styled by a professional hair & makeup artist. Each model will be photographed during a custom designed concept session by 20 fabulous professional photographers and will receive 30 digital files from the stylized session.

How to Get Featured on the Cover of a Magazine..
The ones where you just wish someone would pull back the curtain and show you exactly how they managed to make ”it” happen. Today I’m excited to be pulling back the proverbial curtain for you.

Senior Stylized Shoot – The Thriving Photographer Retreat..
You just can’t put 20 photographers together for 4 days and not end up with some amazing images! We had boudoir sessions taking place in hallways, impromptu posing classes and a whole lot of fun playing with settings.
As part of the Florida Thrive Retreat, I put together 4 stylized sessions, and over the next few weeks… I’ll be sharing some of the gorgeous shots captured by my amazing Thrivers. Be sure to follow their watermarks to their websites because these girls are worth finding!

How to KEEP that Work/Life Balance..
Video Friday is back! We’ve been filming new episodes and are excited to get back on track. We are finally starting to feel pretty moved-in (I think I’m down to 3 boxes!); routine is forming again, and I gotta say, it feels GREAT!
This week we celebrated Take Your Child to Work Day… In honor of the special day, I have a very very special guest helping me cover today’s topic! My 8 year old, Adilyn, will be helping me discuss how to keep that work/life balance thing.
If you haven’t realized this yet, we’re really into work/life balance… In fact, that’s why The Thriving Photographer™ is called The Thriving Photographer. I believe that while making great money is definitely fun, you’re only thriving when you’re living the life you love. And let’s face it… when mama’s off balance – life just isn’t the party we want it to be.
